Exploring the Refuge: An Interactive Tool for Exploring the ANWR Debate
Thesis Project, Fall 2004–Spring 2005

Designed a tool that allows users to navigate both sides of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge public policy debate. Presented both sides of the argument as objectively as possible with the hope of fostering critical thinking, comparative analysis, and informed decision making.

Mobile Computing for Microsoft
Graduate Studio II, Spring 2003
Conducted exploratory and generative research into user goals and activities to develop a new mobile computing device with optimal integration of software and hardware. Improved form and features of device with evaluative user research and iterative design process.
